Dual U Bolt Solar Mid Clamp

The Egret dual U bolt solar mid clamp is used to fix the solar panels on both sides at the middle position between two adjacent solar photovoltaic panels. Unlike ordinary solar mid clamp and end clamp, the clamp body is longer, 80-100mm, resulting in more even force distribution and forming a buffer structure to prevent squeezing and scratching the photovoltaic aluminum frame.

The standard length of the product covers 80-100mm, and other custom lengths are accepted. It is compatible with the mainstream 30/35/40mm photovoltaic module thickness on the market; the height of the U-shaped can be customized to match different specifications of square steel main beams.

If the bracket rail is round tube，can use U-shaped rounded bolt ; If U-shaped steel is used, can use solar mid clamp with plastic nut .

Q1. What square tube beams can the U-bolt lock onto?

A1. Standard U-bolts fit rectangular galvanized/ZAM steel square beams. If your bracket uses special width/thickness beams, we can customize U-bolt height and opening width per your drawings.

Q2. Can this clamp be used in high-salt-spray areas near the sea?

A2: Yes. The solar U mid clamp is UV-resistant and acid rain-resistant; the hot-dip galvanized fasteners pass a 500-hour salt spray test. For highly corrosive environments such as islands, the zinc-aluminum-magnesium bolt can be upgraded, with an outdoor service life of over 20 years.

Q3: If the installation environment is harsh,have any recommended ground systems that can be adapted to this mid clamp?

A:We recommend using the high strength zam square tube system, suitable for areas with heavy snow and wind in Europe. No welding is required，the connection and fixation are done directly with bolts, making installation convenient.
